Kongeparken: Where Fun and Road Safety Come Together
“It was a natural choice to partner with SBI for this year’s major new attraction in Kongeparken. With their strong track record from other major projects across Europe, we felt confident in their capabilities. The cars look great, are of high quality, and any challenges along the way were handled swiftly and professionally.”
– Vibeke Fjordbakk, Chief Executive at Kongeparken
Kongeparken’s Exciting New Traffic School Attraction
Kongeparken is bringing their new interactive and educational experience, Brumle & Naffens Traffic School,to life. This together with with NAF, the Norwegian Automonile Federation.
This exciting new attraction, is powered by the custom designed electric vehicles that SBI Sweden has provided. Making it a truly sustainable experience for young learners. One of the highlights of the new attraction at Kongeparken in Ålgård, Norway, is its thoughtful integration of Edutainment. Education and entertainment.

In line with Kongeparken’s core values, this children’s Traffic School is designed not only to entertain, but also to provide valuable lessons in a fun and memorable way. Additionally, it supports the park’s mission to create meaningful experiences through play. It is an investment in educating children on the importance of road safety. As Glenn André Eikelund, Division Manager, at Lund Gruppen, explains:
In partnership with NAF, we’ve created a one-of-a-kind driving school for kids, combining road safety training with fun and play. Before hitting the road, children meet animated Brumle and Naffen in a custom interactive classroom and answer traffic questions by stepping on red or green. They are then cleared to hit the road in their very own electric car.
This immersive concept ensures that young drivers not only enjoy their time behind the wheel, but also gain valuable insights into traffic rules and responsible driving. All in a safe ans engaging environment.

The vehicles provided by SBI Sweden play an important role in the sustainability of the attraction. Powered by electricity, these eco-friendly cars are part of the park’s commitment to offering a greener and more sustainable experience for families. This is a perfect example of how entertainment and education can go hand in hand with environmental responsibility.
A Modern Take on a Beloved Classic
This is not the first time Kongeparken has introduced a kids’ driving school experience. There was already a similar attraction in Kongeparken in the 1980s. But now the new traffic school has been given a fresh, modern update. As Kongeparken’s Chief Executive, Vibeke Fjordbakk, expressed,
“We are proud to bring back a classic that many of our visitors remember from their own childhood, now in an updated and sustainable version.”
By combining nostalgic elements with a focus on sustainability, Kongeparken offers today’s children an engaging and interactive way to learn.

SBI’s Contribution: Electric Vehicles Tailored for Fun and Learning
As the supplier of the vehicles for the attraction, SBI Sweden played a crucial role in making this experience possible. The specially designed electric cars, including ice cream trucks, fire trucks, and a variety of other fun vehicles.
“It has been a fun project where we have collaborated closely with Kongeparken to create cars and decorations that are tailored to the theme and the partners involved. We are sure that the children will love these cars.”
Says Petter Lindh at SBI Sweden .
With a selection of 12 cars and 8 trucks, the attraction offers children the chance to drive through a miniature traffic system complete with signs, traffic lights, roundabouts, and intersections. This engaging setup gives children a fun, hands-on way to learn about road safety.

A Family Experience Like No Other
After completing their “driving lessons,” children are awarded their very first driving license at the kiosk at the exit. As a result, children experience a sense of achievement and excitement.
Meanwhile, parents can relax with a coffee, knowing their children are learning valuable life skills in a safe and engaging environment. The experience is designed to be fun for the whole family, with additional activities like a sandbox with excavators for the little ones to enjoy.

Looking Ahead: A Sustainable Future for Attractions
All in all, we at SBI, are proud to be part of this exciting initiative at Kongeparken. Where innovation, sustainability, and fun come together to create a lasting impact on the next generation. As we continue to support parks and attractions around the world with our electric vehicles, we remain committed to helping create enjoyable, educational experiences that are also environmentally friendly.

We look forward to seeing Brumle and Naffens Traffic School become a beloved attraction for families visiting Kongeparken this year.
